Nine Lip and Cheek Duos We Can't Get Enough Of
TOUCH IN SOL TECHNICOLOR LIP & CHEEK TINT IN "MYSTIQUE CORAL"
Brittany Talarico, Style News Editor: I was apprehensive to try Touch in Sol’s coral shade for two reasons. First, it’s soooo bright in the bottle (read: I was scared of looking a bit clownish). And second, it has a powder finish, which could be drying depending on the formula. But as soon as I swiped it on, I was pleasantly surprised. The powder finish helps control shine on my oily skin, and it didn’t dry out my lips at all. I loved the instant glow. Bonus: It also smells amazing.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY BEACH STICK IN "LAS SALINAS"
Andrea Lavinthal, Style and Beauty Director: I love a product that you can swipe on straight from the tube, and which only requires your fingers to blend. This creamy stick comes in five gorgeous shades (I chose the gold-flecked bright pink one) and adds a pretty pop of sheer shimmery color to cheeks. It felt a bit dry on my lips, but I did enjoy the surprisingly delicious vanilla scent.

RMS LIP2CHEEK IN "BELOVED"
Alex Apatoff, Senior Style Editor: I had yet to find a multipurpose formula that delivered enough pigment to my cheeks and lips to replace my go-tos, let alone one that was made with ingredients I trust. But since every celeb under the sun raves about makeup pro Rose-Marie Swift’s all-natural beauty products, I wanted to try this product for the purposes of this gallery. Verdict? It’s totally worth the hype (and the price), but a word of advice: To really get the most out of it, make sure your skin and lips are properly moisturized, or the color won’t blend well.

BOBBI BROWN POT ROUGE FOR LIPS & CHEEKS IN "TELLURIDE"
Lindsay Schallon, Senior Style Editor: I’m a creature of habit in a serious way. Just take my blush, for example: I’ve been using Nars “Orgasm” for as long as I can remember. So trying 1) a cream formula and 2) a deep brick-y brown shade was slightly outside my comfort zone. As it turns out, the application was way less complicated than I expected. The cream blended into my cheeks seamlessly with my BeautyBlender, and even when I used my finger to blot the tint on my lips, it was pleasantly light and non-sticky. I’m also digging the ’90s vibe it gives off. Maybe I ought to break out of my routine more often.

BURBERRY LIP & CHEEK BLOOM IN "POPPY"
Jackie Fields, Beauty Editor: I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that I was first drawn to the pot’s gorgeous packaging. But yes, the formula inside is just as fabulous as the iconic plaid-motif on the lid. The velvet texture is unlike anything I’ve ever felt (I kept rubbing my lips together because they felt like silk). The colors, inspired by an English country garden, may look intense, but they apply like a wash of color that can be built up into a brighter pop if you’d like. I applied it on my lips first, then my cheeks; by the time I was done, I didn’t even need to wipe off my finger, as all the product had transferred to my newly radiant face.

YSL KISS & BLUSH IN "CORAIL INCANDESCENT"
Catherine Kast, Style Editor: If you’re going for a polished, ladylike look rather than a pop of color, this soft, everyday coral is for you. The applicator’s rounded pointy top allows for precision around the cupid’s bow, but it’s still easily blendable when applied on the cheeks. And if you’ve got oily skin and creamy blush makes you even shinier, fear not! The subtle shade dries totally matte.

JENNA HIPP CHEEKY KISS LIP & CHEEK TINT IN "PEACHY KEEN"
Colleen Kratofil, Style Writer-Reporter: I’d avoided cream-based blush because I’d never found a formula that felt silky rather than sticky. Then I set my eyes on this peach pot and had to give the formula another shot. The truth is, I touched up my cheeks toward the end of the day, but it made my lips feel very moisturized. And I loved that the sheer tint gave my face a nice glow, which is perfect for a laid-back summer look – or faking a fresh-from-the-gym flush.

HAN SKIN CARE COSMETICS CHEEK & LIP TINT IN "CORAL HIBISCUS"
Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: It’s no secret I have a thing for green beauty products, so when I recently met with the founder of HAN Skin Care Cosmetics, an all-natural, plant- and food-based makeup line, I was immediately on board to test everything – including this hydrating, highly-pigmented lip and cheek duo. Yes, it’s super smooth, but most impressive are its good-for-you ingredients: shea butter, argan oil and vitamin and tea extracts.

BY TERRY AQUA TINT LIP & CHEEK DUO IN "SPLASH TONIC"
Adeline Duff, Style & Beauty Intern: I recommend you pick up this limited-edition lip and cheek set before it vanishes. Why? One swipe was perfect for my alabaster skin, but if you have a deeper skin tone, the liquid texture is definitely buildable. The color looked vibrant for hours on my lips and cheeks, meaning it s my new go-to product for day to night.
