Love Island Australia 2023 cast: Full list of contestants

LOVE Island Australia is finally here with a brand new batch of hot young singles entering the Villa looking for love.

Season 5 will premiere on October 30 but you can already meet the Islanders, and there's one of them you might already know.

Who is in the Love Island Australia 2023 cast?

This edition of Love Island Australia will kick off with the first 10 islanders and four hot bombshells.

In this interesting bunch of singles looking for love, you might spot a Love Island UK star and another who was the secret ex of a controversial Married At First Sight groom.

In Season 5, the hottest singles from Down Under will either couple up or crack-on in Mallorca, Spain - just like they did in Seasons 1 and 4.

Take a look at who's making the cast for Love Island Australia 2023.

More on Love Island Australia

Abby Miller, 23 - Bombshell

Makeup artist

Abby will be returning to the reality tv screen after briefly appearing on the 2023 series of The Bachelors Australia.

After not having much luck in finding her dream man, the Sydney beauty will give another shot in the Love Island Villa.

She was allegedly seeing Married at First Sight groom Harrison Boon just before and while he was on the show.

Outside of reality television, Abby is an in-demand makeup artist living in Cronulla.

Abby's longest relationship was 18 months, and she said she is sick of dating men who she thinks are toxic so it's time to find someone who gets her and respects her.

Abby has a slight connection to Love Island Australia as she went on a date with Josh Packham from season 2 - but it didn't go anywhere, 9Now reports.

Lucinda Stafford, 23 - Bombshell

Influencer and online fashion boutique owner

Lucinda will grace us once again in the Love Island screen, but this time she's going Down Under.

She will be the first UK ex-Islander to go on to Love Island Australia.

The 23-year-old was a star Bombshell in the UK series in 2021, going into the Villa on day nine and leaving on day 28.

Since the show, Lucinda has built a loyal fanbase, with more than 800,000 Instagram followers, plus another 800,000 on TikTok.

Based in the UK town of Brighton, Lucinda runs an online boutique store called The Luxe Range.

She is excited at going into the Villa as a Bombshell again, this time very early in the piece on Love Island Australia. The call came out of the blue for Lucinda to be on the program and she is going to make the most of it.

As she has done Love Island before, she knows what to expect – and this time it's all about having the best time possible.

Lucinda has had a couple of serious relationships but only now is she ready to truly find love.

"I feel like I was so young last time, I was only 21," she told 9Now.

"I'm more mature now and I'm just itching to get in there, and of course hopefully find an Aussie boyfriend."

Reid Polak, 26 - Bombshell

Personal trainer/model

Reid has caught the attention of Love Island Australia casting directors since season three, and he is finally joining the Villa.

He is a down-to-earth and laconic Perth native who relocated to the Gold Coast last November with his now ex-girlfriend.

He's looking for a girl who he thinks is attractive and who can banter.

Reid, a personal trainer since the age of 18, has just begun modelling and acting. He was scouted while out and about to be an extra on the hit television show La Brea. He enjoyed the experience so much that he wants to do more acting.

He has the largest social media following of any male Islander, with an astounding 49,200 Instagram followers, which will no doubt increase.

Kale Roberts, 25 - Bombshell

Sales

Kale relocated to the Gold Coast from Perth in 2020 and now calls it home.

He has always enjoyed travelling and spent two years in Canada, where he made friends for life.

"Travel has opened my eyes so much and changed my life for the better," he said.

He has a distinct appearance, covered in tattoos, that we haven't seen previously on Love Island Australia.

Described as kind and compassionate, Kale may be considered an alpha guy without any of the negative alpha energy.

He has had a couple casual relationships with Gold Coast women and is ready to let a girl into his hectic life.

Kale is eager to settle down with someone who can make him laugh and is kind and sincere - just like him.

He has done some modelling and would like to do more in addition to working in sales.

Kirra Schofield, 26

Early childhood educator

Kirra will be familiar to many fans of reality TV, after appearing on Married at First Sight this year to support her sister Bronte.

When asked about her experience on MAFS, she replied: "Intense, because me and my sister Bronte are so supportive of each other and we fight for each other, so to see what she was going through was so full-on.

"I feel like I take on her problems and what she does. When someone does her dirty, I am out for that person too. When I was hearing what she was going through it was tough, but I had to stand up for her."

Now she is looking forward to her own crack at love on television as part of the Love Island Australia cast.

She has been single for six months after three relationships and is ready to try again to find love.

Her previous relationship was passionate, but it fizzled out so she wishes to rediscover her passion.

Speaking of her past romances, she said: "I have had three. My first one was when I was 16, in high school, and on and off.

"The second one was when I was 19 and we ended terribly, I never want to see him again.

"The last one was a few months ago, that was for about six months.

"We started hot and heavy and then we hit the floor pretty hard. He was great, but I guess it just wasn't meant to be."

Tyra Johannes, 23

Accounts

Of South African heritage but growing up in Queensland, Tyra has had no luck with men so far - including being ghosted by an ex-rugby league player.

But she is ready to change that in the Villa and is genuinely looking for love.

She describes herself as an emotionally aware person, a bit goofy, carefree, fun and super chilled.

Tyra knows exactly what she is looking for: a man who is funny, tall and handsome, confident, loyal, knows what he wants, and is also handy around the house.

At school Tyra was popular and had a stint as school captain, so she isn't shy of public speaking.

"This opportunity has come at the right time and I am going to just go for it in the Villa, have fun and do something that is unique and a once in a lifetime experience," she said.

Nakia Pires, 21

Store worker

Nakia recently moved to Adelaide and works in a clothing warehouse.

While she looks for the man of her dreams, her dog Oakley currently takes the spot as the love of her life.

She describes herself as brutally honest and won't be afraid to voice her opinions.

As well as finding love, of course, Nakia is looking forward to is making friends with the other girls in the Villa.

After being in a two and a half year relationship that broke up last year, Nakia spent time working on herself and now believes the time is right to seriously start dating again.

"I've had a great few months but I'm ready to put myself out there and find love again," she said.

When asked what she's looking for in a man, Nakia said: "I'm looking for someone who is a massive animal lover, because I am.

"Someone who is driven, funny and can match my energy. I want to find my best friend to fall in love with. And he has to be tall."

Tia Gregory, 24

Real estate

After being single for the past five years, Tia Gregory is ready to turn some heads in the Love Island villa.

She wants to go on the show to find real love and says she is over the limited dating pool in Canberra.

She is ready to find someone and settle down, but also a guy who is funny and genuine, and likes to party every now and then.

Tia has focused on her career in real estate the last few years and is an up-and-coming go-getter.

She loves to experience the finer things in life after working hard and recently bought herself a Mercedes-Benz as a present.

"This experience of going into the Villa is so out of my comfort zone, but I am ready to have fun," she said.

Savanah Badger, 26

Law graduate

Savanah Badger could easily be known as the Aussie version of Legally Blonde.

She graduated from her six-year law degree last year with honours, and often with her pet chihuahua Mr Cheeto by her side.

Now she's having a gap year as she figures out if she wants to become a junior lawyer.

In the past she has not had much luck with men, admitting to an attraction to toxic, tanned types with tattoos, and she is hoping to break that habit in Spain.

She is looking for a man who accepts her for who she is, one she can have a laugh and a dance with.

"Normally I go for feralish boys, the bad boys. They have to have a tan and I like boys that are really big, strong and masculine. I also don't mind a man who looks after himself," she said.

"One of my ex-boyfriends used to get manicures and pedicures and I don't mind that.

"I want them to be funny and cute and have a sense of humour and not take things too seriously."

Nate Page, 24

Personal trainer

Born in the US, Nate crossed the Pacific aged four and now works as a personal trainer in Sydney's northern beaches.

He has played basketball all his life, and wouldn't mind meeting another athletic girl who loves sports.

He studied sports management at university and had a stint working at Fox Sports.

"I was doubtful at the beginning if I should do the show, but I'm so glad I made the decision to commit," he said.

After getting hurt in his three serious relationships, Nate said he doesn't want to get in that position again.

Zac Nunns, 25

Student

Zac revealed that joining the Love Island Australia cast couldn't have come at a more perfect time.

A former electrician, the 25-year-old is now studying media and communications and still working out what is next.

Originally from New Zealand, Zac has travelled around the world but still hasn't found the girl of his dreams.

"I'm looking forward to having the summer of a lifetime, meeting new friends and hopefully a girlfriend," he said.

He is looking for a girl that is funny and hot, someone who can work with his fun and full-on personality.

His last relationship was with a Brazilian and he ended up moving to Brazil, before returning to Australia after it fizzled out.

Ben Richardson, 22

Videographer and content creator

Born in Australia, Ben has Filipino heritage and has lots of family back in the Philippines who he wants to make proud while being in the show.

"I'm very creative and it would be nice to find a girl to share that with," he said.

Ben has been single since high school, but he is looking for a serious girlfriend and admits he is husband material at 22, ready to settle down.

Ollie Lawson, 24

FIFO mining electrician

Ollie is confident that Love Island Australia will give him the match made in heaven.

Even better if the girl fits his type and is a Latina.

He grew up in England in a Mormon family before leaving the church to come to Australia.

Ollie loves living Down Under because of the beaches, the women and the opportunity to make good money working as an electrician in Western Australia's Pilbara region.

He wants to bring some British banter to the show and have the time of his life while doing it and hoping for love.

"I'm ready to give it a real good crack. It's going to be hopefully a summer of love," he said.

Trent Woolman, 25

Tower crane operator

Trent grew up near Horsham in western Victoria, but he has called Melbourne home for the past few years.

Trent, a popular guy with an outgoing personality, will quickly make friends with both the girls and the boys.

He is also straightforward and does not mince words, which may ruffle some feathers in the Villa.

Before going on Love Island Australia, models were his type.

Trent has had some on and off "situationships" in recent years, but says going into the Villa is all about finding someone to settle down with.

"I can't wait to get in there and try and find real true love," he said.
