Farmer Wants A Wife couple announce engagement as reality star picks special spot to get down on one
FARMER Wants A Wife star David McMahon has popped the question after finding love on Season 13 of the show.
The fourth-generation apple farmer, 29, revealed his new relationship status in a joint Instagram post with fiancée Emily, a 26-year-old special education aide from Queensland.

Beneath a picture of Emily standing behind David, her arms wrapped around him and an engagement ring clearly visible, they wrote: "Incredibly proud to announce, this Farmer has found his Wife."
The pair appear elated, smiling ear to ear in Mudgee's Evamor Valley where they had their first overnight date.
They have now been together for about 10 months.
David told 7News he chose that specific location because it was where he fell in love with Emily.

He said: "There was a moment at Evamor, when we were having a glass of wine as the sun was setting and I just knew this was something special.
"So, it was really important for me that when I asked Em to marry me, it had to be at Evamor Valley - the spot is just such a special part of our journey."
Emily could barely contain her excitement.
She gushed: "It was just such a surreal moment - David kept the secret very well. I had absolutely no clue!

Others said David and Emily make a "beautiful couple" and noted they "both look so incredibly happy".
It comes just months after their season of Farmer Wants A Wife premiered in April and wrapped in May.
But David long seemed sure he had met the one, telling Emily during the final decision: "You are the most genuine person I know... I've completely fallen in love with you and can't wait to see where this future goes."
The 26-year-old made the move from Brisbane to David's farm at Pozieres in Queensland's Southern Downs region shortly after filming for the show ended in December last year.
She told 7Life in May: "I was a little bit anxious that I really wanted to find, you know, my career and life here.
"I'm just used to my routine and I knew that was going to change but I was excited to get involved with the community here.
"I was really fortunate that things kind of moved quickly, so nothing's been really that hard."
Emily said everything had "gone really well" and she was pleased to be working full-time as a special education aide at a local primary school, and as a teacher at a local dance studio.
She continued: "I've managed to find both my loves out here as well.
"I've got my dancing still going and my teaching so I'm extremely happy."
